Barcelona still want Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen
According to reports, Barcelona are still interested in Tottenham Hotspur's midfielder Christian Eriksen. Despite the Catalans buying Philippe Coutinho, Barca still want to get the Denmark international into their squad.
Eriksen is awaiting an improved contract this summer by the Spurs and this might cancel the eventual deal between the two teams. Currently, Eriksen is a main player for head coach Mauricio Pochetino and the deal for him is highly unlikely to happen.
Eriksen joined Tottenham Hotspur from Ajax in 2013 and since then has made 164 Premier League appearances and has scored 39 goals in the English Championship. He is still awaiting his first title with the Spurs.
