for the rest of the group, I think it will be Spain and Portugal on a race to see who can score the most goals and end 1st in the group...but after that, I don't think Cristiano alone as he seems to be, can carry Portugal to the final. One bad game for him could see Portugal out of the competition.

You are extremely correct about that. Ronaldo being used at this rate can make him very prone to injury, and not fit for the rest of the tournament, Quaresma seems to be a little behind his game, i almost did not see any other Portugal player. Spain on the other hand is very ontop of their game....Costa is on FIRE!.
the only bright side of this is that they were playing against Spain, maybe they made Cristiano's teammates worse than they are...because if that isn't the case, poor Ronaldo.
Spain played well, but it has flaws on defense, Nacho and Pique fouled Cristiano in a rather stupid way, and De Gea is an amazing keeper, but that second goal kinda made him look like Karius instead...Costa was a beast though.
