90 Minutes Play Review

As we all know Champion League finals are always big games it's like the world stand still for 90 Minutes . However, this year's final lost some flavour that is normally expected. Someone said it was just two average EPL teams searching for 3 points. Nevertheless, the deal as been concluded, Liverpool FC now Champion of Europe for the next 24 months.
Watching that game 48 hours ago, I think the early minute penalty against Tottenham changed the dynamics of the game. Ofcourse Selah didn't fail to put the ball behind the net after about 2 minutes of play from the penalty spot. I guess it was a redeeming time for Selah after he got that shoulder injury in last year's same final against Real Madrid. With just one goal down I expected Tottenham to give a hard fight against Liverpool but it was not a good performance as there was no shot at goal in the first 45 Mins of the game. Hope not lost, I guess Fans from London would have expected seeing Tottenham coming out smoking second half of the game, to be sincere did Pochettino got his tactics right in this game? A lot of answers are needed. The question is why did he keep Lucas Moura on the bench that long? I am not a coach, but I think Pochettino should have brought in Lucas Moura into the field of play at the resumption of second 45 Mins. Harry Kane is a good striker but he wasn't in that game, Erickson was flat footed, well Thanks to the South Korea forward Son who was just up at his game. Bringing Lucas Moura in was just too late for me....☹️
Last 10 mins of play there Tottenham woke up to play this game it was just too late. They would have given Liverpool a run for their money from the blast of the 2nd half.

Moment Of The Game

This is very simple, Origi's goal was my moment at this year's final. He did it against Barcelona during the semi final home game at Anfield, coming from the bench and scoring those fantastic goals. I am just wondering why Origi is not giving enough playing time. This guy is second to none in Liverpool's first eleven players but for now that is the reality, Jurgen Klopp should look into this next season.

Final Thought

The best team won, which is Liverpool and a big congrat to Jurgen Klopp who finally got a win after losing three previous champion league finals. Also for the record, it will be a season which only English teams made it to finals of Champion League and Europa League. This is a remarkable and Understanding record to EPL. So to Tottenham and Arsenal that lost in Champion and Europa league finals; there is another season.
Liverpool FC you are the undisputed champion
Never walk Alone.
