10:45: Philippe Coutinho might have to wait to make his Barcelona debut once he completes his move from Liverpool.

The Brazil international has currently got a thigh injury and was expected to return to action next weekend.

Mundo Deportivo say that problem may be slightly more serious than first thought and that he will be assessed on Monday.

Coutinho may have to sit out Barcelona's games with Celta Vigo and Real Sociedad if the injury is worse than believed.

Coutinho - Griezmann dilemma
09:50: Barcelona might not be able to afford Antoine Griezmann in the summer because of Philippe Coutinho's arrival at the club.

That's according to Don Balon, who say Barca believe the Atletico Madrid star's previous buyout fee of £86m now seems cheap.

Barcelona wanted to sign Griezmann as they look to freshen up their forward line that was hit by Neymar's departure last summer.

The fact that Griezmann is now likely to cost well over £100m is an issue though given Coutinho's own £142m transfer fee.

08:55: Nothing was going to put Philippe Coutinho off a move to Barcelona - not even Liverpool signing Virgil van Dijk.

That's according to La Liga transfer expert Guillem Balague, who revealed all on Tiempo de Juego.

"Since [the] summer, Coutinho has told Liverpool and his companions that playing in Barcelona was his dream," he said.
