Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Alexis Sanchez will remain with the team, denying reports that he is close to moving to Paris Saint-Germain.

"I do not think Sanchez will go to Paris," said Wenger at a news conference. "I read the newspaper L'Equipe, you have been killed in the final days of Sanchez to Neymar, you need subjects like you (journalists mean)."

"Saint-Germain can not sign Sanchez, so he went to Neymar, Sanchez did not ask to leave Arsenal and I said many times that he was staying with us."
