Mexico vrs New Zealand Confederations Cup

My favorite team sport is football so I will talk a little about today's Confederations Cup game between Mexico and New Zealand.

Mexico barely avoided a draw with New Zealand today, they won by just 2-1, and maybe New Zealand deserved better. Earlier Portugal defeated Russia 1-0 with a Cristiano Ronaldo goal.

This score really puts Mexico against the ropes, because Portugal should at least tie with New Zealand which would automatically qualify them for the next round. But Mexico plays Russia which is the home country and will absolutely try to not be relegated. In Mexico's favor is the fact that they only need a draw, Russia has to win.

But frankly the way Mexico played today I think Russia will beat them.
