Honduras to World Cup Play Off Against Australia

Incredibly Honduras was able to make it to the play off against Australia, never thought we would make it that far. But then again I never thought the USA team would play such a bad game against Trinidad and Tobago, still the USA maybe can appeal the Panama win because the first Panamanian goal was really not a goal, the ball never even crossed the line apart from a hand ball by Blas Perez.

But that is a remote possibility it is very difficult that the CONCACAF will judge against a referee's decision so I think Panama is in the World Cup and we are in play offs.

Honduras beat Mexico 3-2 after going down 1-0 and again 1-2, they were able to make a come back but we still needed the results from the other 2 games, until the 88th minute when Panama scored their second goal we were qualifying directly to the World Cup. In fact if the USA does make an appeal and win it we could still make it directly to the world cup.

Now as to the Australia game, I think they have a better team with many of their players either playing or having played in the English Premier League, so they do have a lot of experience and are very good players, but frankly Syria showed them up, they are vulnerable so I think Honduras still has a fighting chance of making it to the Cup, very difficult but the possibility is there.

Now I personally don't think we deserve to go, I think we have a lousy team, despite them having played very well the last two games, but whatever happens just happens.
