FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT TOMORROW!!! 🏈🏈🏈

DRAFT IS AT 9PM EST (TOMORROW, SATURDAY, AUGUST 31ST)

The list of contestants is still being finalized but almost ready. We didn't hear back or get payment or an answer from @bola and a new player who was saying they wanted to play... so had to pull the plug on them!

We may still have 14 players. It may be more likely that we land on 12, in which case it'll change from 6-team playoff to a 4-team playoff. Championship game will be Week 16 in both cases.

All the players in the Yahoo! league right now are paid! This includes me, @mellofello, @boatsports90, @fuzzmaster, @kitzchris, @misterhorse, and @pittsburghhodlr.

And maybe someone I've forgotten? 🤔

I'm dog sitting right now, at a stranger's house. Between fantasy football and a dog and updating the client with pictures and wondering if it would be safe to smoke a bowl in the backyard or if that's rude, I'm overwhelmed with stimulus.

Too much going on. Great dog sitters get easily immersed.

In addition to the above mentioned players, @pittsburghhodlr recruited a couple friends from outside of Steemit, and I recruited one.

Many have paid the SBD buyin by sending to me on Paypal, and I'm converting. Right now open.ledger is saying the withdrawal bridge is down or something, but rest assured everyone who drafts will have paid (or I'm spotting them and trusting and assuming the risk), and the full prize pool will be moved to the savings portion of my wallet.

After the draft we should think about converting the prize pool to BTC (or maybe convert half of it?). We'll cross that bridge in a few days. Will only do so if there are no objections. But something to think about.
