Top 10 Wide Receiving Corps
By christian Skutevik on 06/21/17

New York Giants - Beckham/Marshall/Shepherd
This was by far the easiest selection on the list. Beckham is the only current player in the NFL to have double digit touchdowns every season of his career, Marshall has already passed 12,000 career receiving yards and is still going strong, and Shepard is coming off of a strong rookie season in which he caught 8 touchdowns!!! Put simply, there is no comparable receiving corps in the NFL.

Pittsburgh Steelers - Brown/Bryant/Rogers
The Steelers barely beat out the Bucs on this list, and you have Antonio brown to thank for that. In the five seasons Brown has played all 15 games he has never failed to receive for over 1,000 yards, and averaged 9 TD’s a season. Even though he is unproven, Bryant is a big reason i rated them so highly because if he can stay healthy he will easily surpass 1,000 yards and 10 TDs. Finally. Rogers is slowly climbing up draft boards and will surprise some people this season, if given the chance.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Evans/Jackson/Humphries
There are only two small reasons the Bucs receiver corps is ranked number three instead of number two. The first is that Evan’s sophomore slump two years ago makes me a little less confident in his ability to get double digit TDs this season. And secondly, I have Jackson ranked as a worse secondary wideout than Bryant, but not by much.

Oakland Raiders - Cooper/Crabtree/Roberts
Cooper is a phenomenal young wide receiver who impresses every week, and has handled the test of facing off against number corners every week with flying colors. Crabtree’s career was given a second chance at life and did he make the most of it, catching 17 touchdowns in the two years since he joined the Raider’s squad. Seth Roberts is a mediocre receiver at best, which is more than fine for a third string wide-out playing behind two super stars.

Denver Broncos - Thomas/Sanders/Latimer
Thomas is an ELITE NFL receiver who has managed more than impressive numbers, even in recent years despite having bad QBs under center. In my opinion Sanders is the single most talented second wide-out. Latimer is my only issue with this receiving corps, he is unimpressive…

Green Bay Packers - Nelson/Adams/Cobb
Nelson has been a top five wide receiver for a half a decade, and when he is healthy Nelson is dangerously talented. He has averaged .75 TDs per game since 2011, first in the NFL. Adams had a breakout season last year receiving for 12 TDs.

Atlanta Falcons - Jones/Sanu/Gabriel
Everyone knows that Jones is a exceptional receiver who is almost uncoverable, and furthermore helps take attention from defenses opening up the field for other players. Sanu and Gabriel really surprised the NFL last year and stepped up into big roles for the Falcons and I am excited to see what they can do this year.

Philadelphia Eagles - Jeffrey/Matthews/Agholor
Jeffrey is a top ten receiving talent in the NFL and will hopefully shine in this new system, unfortunately we will need to wait till the season to know for sure. Matthews could be a star lining up across from Jeffrey, and they should both help take some pressure off of each other.

New England Patriots - Edelman/Cooks/Hogan
Edelman is a safe and consistent receiver, with him you know exactly what you get. Cooks is an exciting new addition and a big play maker who should open the field up this year, and Hogan is a young and coming into his own receiver who is dangerous downfield. All in all, these are three talented players with big play making skills, lots of potential.

Jacksonville Jaguars - Robinson/Hurns/Lee
When Katy Perry sang “'Cause you're hot then you're cold, You're yes then you're no, You're in then you're out, You're up then you're down” She was most definitely talking about these guys. If we can get the Robinson and Hurns we saw 2015 they will quickly climb up this list but as of now 10th is the highest I can justify ranking them.
