On the 4th of August, we hosted the Ultimate Soccer Academy and played a friendly match. It was an amazing experience for the DFA team because USA has been running for some years while we started some months back, meeting with the USA team gave us more exposure, vast knowledge, and experiences.

DFA Meets USA's Coach

There is an ongoing competition on the field DFA trains, USA's coach came to inspect the match and saw us training. Our training piqued his interest, and so he spoke with one of the team members and concluded that he would love his team to have a match with us. We agreed and fixed a date for the match which took place on the 4th.

Ultimate Soccer Academy's coach is an incredible and experienced coach, he spoke with both teams on the match day and also motivated the boys about their vision of becoming professional footballers, you can watch this clip in the videos attached to this post below.

Before the match started, DFA prayed and did some personal training.

After the physical exercises, DFA footballers picked up balls for soccer training.

After discussions, both teams did various exercises (cone and physical exercises) before the friendly game started.

The match then begins ⚽⚽⚽

It was a fantastic performance from both teams, we had two goals from both sides i.e the match ended in a draw (2-2). People who came to watch the match accolade both teams.

Post-match:

USA's coach discussed with both teams and gave a review about the games, he pointed out each of the player’s mistakes and how to improve in their games.
We then talked about #Steem and #DFA, after this, both teams had some fun, watch the video below 🎥.
