Winner plays UCF
NOW, I thought that Auburn would smack the non power five Knights. My opinion, the Tigers would run them over and tire them out. I was wrong. Congrats to the undefeated UCF Knights. I do not think my college football playoff expansion opinion is wrong. To the college playoff committee with a pretty please .. Lets expand the playoffs to the great 8... You gotta love March madness in college basketball. Ironically ,the Knights finished tenth . They were better than their schedule.. @ THIS POINT , my new opinion is that any undefeated non power 5 deserves a shot.. Never ever under estimate a heart of the undefeated .Shorten the season ,heck with a conference championship game .It does not matter . Right Buckeyes? Right Nittany Lions ?
My opinion the big Ten always deserve a spot in the playoffs.. (@ this point in time) I'M an advocate for expansion of the College Football Playoff to 8 teams and shorten the regular season dude. Any other dudes agree? University of Central Florida play the new Sec winner Alabama maybe Georgia for the real college football championship ! #tainted
I'm very much in favor of an eight-team playoffs, as well as getting rid of the conference championships if necessary.
If it weren't for polls and bowls, the FBS would have no choice but to use a true playoff system. Unfortunately, there's too many people who like the way it is, for the prestige or profit it affords them. Nothing wrong with either necessarily, but when it's only about the power and the money then the actual sport suffers. Great for the conferences and the universities, not so great for the fans. The players get caught in the middle.
