Top 32 Mascots You Absolutely Must See
Before we dive into the list, I want to clarify the criteria for ranking. Here, we're focusing solely on the overall vibe of the mascot. This means that both very cool and very funny mascots have made it to the top spots. The more standard ones ended up lower on the list, while the coolest or funniest ones are at the top. Also, please note that I'm from Ukraine, so I've included quite a few mascots from our local clubs in the ranking. One day, I'll create a massive compilation of such mascots from all European leagues.
32nd Place — Bayern Munich
A very standard bear, just as standard as it gets. The old mascot would have easily made it into the top 10. But this one lands at the very bottom of our list.
31st Place — Leicester City
Well, it's kind of a ferret, more interesting than a bear, but just by a tiny bit. Now, a bartender mascot for Leicester would have been more fitting.
30th Place — Chelsea
The logo has a lion, and the mascot is... a lion. Wow.
29th Place — Barcelona
Now we're getting better—kind of a Catalan arthouse vibe. Personally, I have no idea what it is. The concept is more original than most, but it's unclear what exactly it's supposed to be.
28th Place — Wolfsburg
"Auf" is cool, but we've got a wolf mascot that's more interesting than Volkswagen's advertising.
27th place — Olympique Lyon
Wow, Léo. Cool, this one is more interesting than Chelsea's, in my opinion.
26th place — Borussia Dortmund
Casual bee. They could have taken their boys to greater heights, but oh well. Just an ordinary bee.
25th place — Mynai
Here’s a real surprise in our forest, whether it's on its own or if someone gave it a boost, but you’re a sigma under the Carpathian pine cones.
24th place — Monaco
It's not clear why the elephant, but at least it looks a bit meme-like.
23rd place — Karpaty
This lion is more lion-like than all the others because it really inspires fear and respect.
22nd place — Dynamo Kyiv
Who is this???
21st place — Fulham
With a mascot like this, Greenwood and Hakimi definitely won't be joining Fulham. I wouldn't want to see this at night.
20th place — Wigan
Well, it's kind of amusing. I don't even know how to comment on it.
19th place — Juventus
All of Juventus's financial maneuvers were due to financing the fourth part of Madagascar.
18th place — Borussia Mönchengladbach
This is really impressive, but it's a shame that in the Bundesliga there’s another team that is far ahead of everyone else for ages. But this Julius is pretty decent.
17th place — Manchester United
Wayne Rooney is such a powerful guy that after his playing career ended, they made a mascot for MU in his honor. That’s honor and respect.
16th place — Milan
Milan didn’t go far either. Kind of a Jerry Satan.
