Blaise Matuidi would bring alot of work rate into the Arsenal team and also a lot of experience to a them. He is a type of player that Arsenal has missed, since none of the people in that position is good enough for a team that want's to fight for the first position in the Premier League.

Barkley is a player that would bring some needed hight in the Arsenal team and together with his creativity skills would fit very well into this team since he has what it takes to play like Arsenal like + he is a big player that can bring some muscles to the midfield.

If Arsenal can hold onto Sanchez and Ozil plus their recent signing Lacazete. I think all they really need are two solid midfielders. Proven midfielders that can lead and have proven to play on the big stage.
I agree, also I think they need a center back and they would really challenge for the title.
