REAL MADRID assess it's easier to buy courtois than De Gea

Real Madrid are reported to have planned a transfer for Thibaut Courtois in the summer. That's because they believe it would be easier to sign the Chelsea goalkeeper than to contract their long-term target, David de Gea from Manchester United. The Spanish giants did prioritize the signing of top-class goalkeepers when the transfer window reopened. They will launch an attack on Premier League clubs to reach their main transfer target. De Gea, who left Atletico Madrid to join Manchester United in 2011, has long been linked with a return to his homeland. Real is expected to launch an offer to bring the 27-year-old player back to Madrid this summer. And according to The Independent, Real Madrid retains their interest in De Gea as a top priority and will not be in a hurry to sign Courtois from Chelsea. That's because they believe it would be easier to sign the Belgian star goalkeeper than De Gea. As is known, Courtois is currently in talks about a new deal with Chelsea. But until now there has been no common ground between the two sides, and Real can take advantage of the opportunity to take him to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer. Some reports claim Real will consider a transfer fee of up to 100 million Pounds for a top goalkeeper, which will break the previous transfer record for a goalkeeper.
