The lower part of Michigan it would have to be the Coney Dog. They come in 2 different styles. Flint Coneys are loose hamburger with mustard and onions. Detroit Coneys are more like a Chili Dog with mustard and onions. Here is a pic of them.
The upper part of Michigan is known for it's Pasties. It's basically a meat pie, but is it ever good.
The Pasties look very much like the empanadas that I make, and looks as flaky as I make them too! Yummy!!! I think that I like the Flint Style Coney very much!!! Thanks, my friend for sharing these foods.
