Food Photography: Mapo Tofu
Here’s a dish that I make a lot in my kitchen. Thanks to a very good ready-made sauce that’s widely available in Korean supermarkets, it’s very quick and easy to prepare. Originating from Sichuan China, Mapo Tofu (pronounced “mapa dubu” 마파두부 in Korean) is a delicious blend of tofu and minced pork or beef in a spicy, delightfully oily red sauce. Great, of course, on steamed rice.
