Pungko-pungko is a Cebuanos term for squat, it is a term used to describe the kind of dining where customers are made to sit in low benches that can occupy about 3-4 people.

Pungko-pungko can also refer to small self-service eateries selling all time-favorite fried foods like Ginabot, bola-bola, Lumpia, Pork chop and others.
