Snail (Helix pomatia) is a housing-bearing land snail. The snail comes in sparse forests, bushes and open habitats especially on calcareous, not too dry soils, partly also cultural following in not too intensively used cultivated land. She is very warm-loving and location-loyal. Unlike other types of snails, it is able to adapt to different living conditions. Weinbergschnecken are in the west to Central France and southern England, in the north to southern Sweden.
