The arepa is the most typical Venezuelan food, it is famous throughout the world for its multiple recipes in the stews and fillings that we put them, then I present a Vegetarian Arepa based on soy protein.

The arepas are prepared with precooked corn flour, for each cup of flour you add a cup of warm water, salt and a jet of oil so that the dough is softer and moldable, flour balls are formed the size of a fist and lenticular form crushing the dough and molding with fingers to achieve a circumference... can also be made square and is easier, mount the arepas on a hot plate for 15 minutes approximately turning it so they do not burn and cook on both sides.

Ingredients:
. 200 Grs of dehydrated soy protein.
1 onion.
2 Medium Potatoes.
6 Leaves of Basil.
.100 grams of chopped cabbage.
1 Big Tomato
10 Cloves of garlic.
. Half rate of chopped parsley.
. A piece of striped ginger.

Preparation:
Hydrate the soy protein in hot water for 5 minutes, sauté the garlic, ginger and potato in olive oil, add the other vegetables and sauté until they crystallize, add the soy and cook for 10 minutes.
This recipe is for approximately 4 people.
