We were in Covent Garden and were very hungry... then I remembered there was a good Fish and Chips place nearby, which I used to go to when I was at uni - called Rock & Sole. Nothing seems to have changed, so I ordered haddock with a bottle of sprite just like I used to do in the old days.

ロンドンに帰ってくると、いいレストランがたくさんあって選び放題ですが、時々ジャンクフードっぽいフィッシュ&チップスが恋しくなる時だってあります。コベント・ガーデンにあるこのフィッシュ&チップスのお店 Rock & Soleは、昔ロンドン留学時代に初めてできた友達が連れて来てくれたお店です。二人で寮から抜け出して、フィッシュ&チップスを求め、てくてくと歩いて来た思い出が 笑。当時と何も変わっていない店内で、いつものハドックを注文しました(コッド(たら)よりハドック(小だら)の方が絶対美味しいので、おすすめです)。

That malt vinegar ... ahh I am a big fan with chips, who wouldn't be! The haddock was perfect, crispy outside and moist and tender inside. Now I'm full and content, ready to continue exploring one of my favourite areas in London, beautiful Covent Garden!!

チップスにモルトビネガーをどばどばかけて頬張り、、スプライトでしゅわっと喉を潤す、、さいこーです。お腹もいっぱいになったので、このあとは大好きなコベント・ガーデンを散策します。どうしても行きたい超素敵なお店があるので！
