Our food forest of the future

Don't forget to think about fruit trees and your permaculture garden of the future. It doesn't matter if you have no idea where you will put your trees, plant the seeds now with an intention and know that you have time to figure it out. These small trees you can see here are the first additions to our future food forest. They were all grown from the seeds of our favourite market bought (organic) fruit: apples, pears, lemons, clementines & oranges.

Esteban & Luna planted the first of these seeds (Green Apple) just before Christmas. Their seeds sprouted so close together I couldn't separate them, so together they will stay forever.
