Hidden Gems in Kota Kinabalu

Do you love to eat fish noodles and nasi kerabu? If yes, you should visit this place at Kota Kinabalu. This place is located at a small housing area called Kepayan Ridge. The shop name is called Ridge Cafe and just located in between KK High School and Sjk (c) Shan Tao.

When you see this place, you are on right place.

This shop is run by a small family. Father and son is cook, mother and daughter will serve you in front and put smile on your face.

This is uncle Ronnie with fresh groupers and he is the chief cook to served you the best food.

The main food they serve is all related to fish. Slice meet fish noodle, fish head noodle, fish belly noodle, salmon belly, salmon slice meet and many more. If you love fish as your main dish, this is your first choice for sure.

Most importantly, their base soup is using pumpkin and tomato, and i can surely to tell you, the combination is the best with fish.

This is one of the dishes, slice fish meat noodle with pumpkin tomato soup.

Every friday, kindly remember, it is at the moment only friday, they will serve nasi kerabu too. The nasi kerabu comes with blue rice(the blue color is extract from the flower called blue-pea flower), their secret receipe of sambal, vegetable salad with cili padi, salted egg and off course the main dishes which is uncle Ronnie special fried chicken. This combination is just perfect. I always amaze how uncle Ronnie blend food to perfect taste. Simply amazing..
