Pea and potato pie
I am a pie lover and one of my favorite pies are pea and potato pies. My wife makes the best pea and potato pies ever. They are excellent for when you are craving something savory and delicious. They could be used as a starter or as a snack. I could even have them for dinner with a cup of tea after having a heavy lunch. I will be sharing the recipe below:
How to make the dough:
You will need:
2 cups of flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tblsp ghee
1 tsp baking powder
Make the dough with milk. Rub in the ghee and add the milk to form your dough. Then roll and cut.
For the filling you will need:
Potatoes
Paprika
Salt
Peas
Butter
Mash the potatoes. Cook the peas with butter, salt and paprika. Mix the potatoes with the peas and fill them into the dough. Fry and enjoy.
