Oh it's a really beautiful type of mint, much more subtle than peppermint and other strong varieties. It kinda gives dishes a lovely 'freshness' rather than overpowering with a real minty flavour. Next time you're passing a garden centre you should pop in and steal a bit from a plant to taste!!!
i do that more often than id like to admit. I like to taste new herbs
Well why the heck not? As long as we don't damage the plants, they will grow back! :-)
