"Almond Thumbprint Cookies" - Gluten-Free Recipe Demo in Kat's Kitchen
Thumbprint cookies are delicious gluten-free treats for your health-conscious family. Kat Lindsay demonstrates this recipe in “Kat's Kitchen”—a recurring segment of the Wild Family TV show on YouTube.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 C almond flour
- 1/2 C arrow root starch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 C coconut oil
- 1/3 C maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 C jam or jelly
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix dry ingredients.
- Add in liquid ingredients and stir.
- Roll doughballs and place on parchment paper.
- Place your thumbprint onto each doughball.
- Add your jam or jelly into the well.
- Bake for 13 minutes.

Sounds like a good mix of quality snacking options for gluten-free and Paleo-focused families. I'm thinking I'd like to learn how to make some homemade nutbutter cookies, maybe some flax crackers, kale chips, granola, applesauce, raw chocolates... Yum.
