Life is much simpler than we have been lead to believe. Our bodies has hundreds of billions of cells, and these cells do need up to 114 different kind of nutrients everyday for our well being.
If in the long run we do not eat the food that contains these nutrients, our body would be forced to react and the cell from within would begin to carnibalize in order to survive.
It is thus important that we take in food based in its nutrient factor and not just because of its sweetness. If the opposite is the case, our bodies may not function at its best.
