Calamari with Padang Sauce

Who does not like processed seafood, surely many people loves it. This time the Chef Recipe will provide a seafood recipe with the main ingredient of squid. Delicious squid added with special spices and delicious Padang sauce will surely make you uncomfortable to eat it. Let's try to cook it at home;

Ingredients:

1/2 kg of fresh squid
1/2 pound onions
1/2 pound of tomatoes
4 pcs red pepper
1 pcs of leek
4 tablespoons chili sauce
3 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
Pepper, to taste
Salt to taste
Sugar, to taste
Enough water
Lime

How to make:

Wash clean squid, then cut into pieces in the form of a ring/circle. Add lime juice. Put it in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
Saute garlic, onion and cayenne pepper. Once fragrant enter the squid. Stir briefly.
Add chili sauce, tomato sauce and oyster sauce, stir briefly and then enter enough water to stir briefly.
Enter the pepper, salt and granulated sugar, stir briefly, taste correction. Cook squid quickly so as not to be tough.
After the fitting taste adds the scallions and tomatoes, turn off the heat. Calamari sauce on ready to be served.

  • Lime juice is useful to remove the smell of fish on squid.
