Liang Sandwich Bar

A couple of weeks back, here in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia had a hype thing going on. It was the talk of the town, especially among the Chinese communities. The Facebook feed was all over it until I literally when to try it today.

Its called Liang Sandwich Bar, apparently it is Jay Chou (周杰倫), favourite snack sandwich. If you wonder who the hell he is, he is a very famous Taiwan singer during the 90s and even now, many young girls fall to his voice and even his looks. Lol. Don't ask me why ?? Haha... Lol. You can google his song on Youtube, hundreds of song written and sung by him.

When I was walking to the stall, I even say to my colleague, its gonna be a long damn queue. Surprisingly, it was not, not even a single human standing around the stall. Lol. Seeing Jay Chou faces all over get me a lot of question, does he owns this? How much % does he gets ? How much millions of dollars he gets for advertisement (curious to know).

Okay, let configure this a bit, when I was walking towards the stall, in my head, I picture it as "Sandwich", means with mindset picture it as an awesome bread with lettuce, meats and special sauce. How the hell I know it a Freaking "ROTI CANAI". Yes, I said it right, it a damn fucking roti canai with ingredients inside, WTF... Lol. How did it become a Taiwan Snack with a Famous Singer promotes it ??? Come on, Think about it, Roti Canai Bahhhhhh!!!!! Its supposed to be a Malaysian Snack.

In my head say, "Ok, What the Hell, Let's try your freaking expensive Roti Canai, Mr Jay Chou". I chose his favourite ones, which the "Jay Chou's Favourite" RM10.90 each... Bring It On !!!

I keep reminding myself that this a sandwich, not a meal but I paid RM10.90 Lol. Haishhh.😂

The Inside look

If you never ate Malaysia Roti Canai at a Mamak Shop, you will appreciate it more. I honestly gonna say this, it awesomely tastes nice, with the softness and crunchiness of the roti canai, the egg inside and chicken and lettuce with their special sauce, it blended really well. I did not try the others, but maybe next time I will. Actually, I am not complaining but rather praise the Taiwanese that they embrace the Roti Canai and enhance it with other elements to spice it up. Why I Never Think of It!!! Wait Wait Wait, Why Malaysia never think of it ??? That's Better... Lol... So ladies and gents, that's was my personal experience towards eating Liang Sandwich Bar.
