The world's most powerfully healing plant based MILK? GORILLA MILK hits the spot for weight correction and strength building!

No gorillas were harmed in the making of this milk!

Gorilla Milk

After months of wanting to make the gorilla milk that i saw Lou Corona and Dan 'the life re-generator' Macdonald making on Youtube, I finally now have all the tools and ingredients necessary to do it. When I real-eyesed that i need to be able to ingest food that is raw, uncooked, organic and maximally healthy to allow my body to heal and regenerate, I went as far as to sell some of the 'things' that I had accumulated, to trade them for the food related items that make sustaining a raw diet more practical - such as a slow speed cold-press juicer and a high speed commercial blender.

While it is true that gorillas don't use blenders and juicers, it is also true that their body has evolved and adapted quite specifically to allow them to easily eat large amounts of greens; humans have, for the most part, evolved quite weak jaws and are not presently so well adapted to switching to a diet of entirely raw fruit and greens. So for now, if I am going to achieve gorilla strength, I am happy to use these kitchen aids to help... and at least this way I don't need to plan how to milk a real gorilla. ;)

So.. what is gorilla milk? and why would I want some?

A highly rich, highly nutritious, homemade, organic, raw and living food that can be used as a replacement for 'dairy' milk and has a variety of other uses. The first part is an almond and coconut milk mixture that can be made to be as liquid or as 'milkshakey' as you prefer. The second part is a green juice that contains fresh apples, cucumber, celery and herbs. When combined, these two mixes are an awesomely healthy drink that somehow manages to combine the tastiest parts of eating sweets and chocolate, with the health giving properties of eating greens and fruit - without any of the downsides associated with sugary and processed foods.. In short, it's akin to a type of holy grail of food. :)

Not only does this milk deliver high nutrition but it is tasty and has a great balancing effect on the body - if you are over weight it will help you lose weight and if you are underweight it will help you come up to weight!

So I've got my tarzan loin cloth ready.. how do I make this stuff?

Firstly, you don't strictly need a loin clothe. Beyond that, you will need:

  1. A high powered blender, such as a vitamix, blendtec or equivalent.
  2. A juicer that is capable of juicing leafy greens, such as an auger style juicer that operates at a slow speed (rpm).
  3. 1 or ideally 2 sieves to strain the mixtures.
  4. 1 muslin straining bag.
  5. A chopping board and chopping knife (ideally a ceramic knife since these cut very cleanly and do not interfere with the food as much as metal knives do).
  6. A large glass bowl.
  7. A glass jar with a lid that can hold at least 1 pint.
  8. Mortar and pestle (if available).

Organic ingredients are strongly advised. The ingredients for the mix are (1 part can equal 1 cup):

  1. 1 part fresh, raw almonds (many store bought almonds are pasteurized and processed - these are not recommended).
  2. 1 part coconut meat (if available).
  3. Freshly ground cinnamon (if available) - to taste.
  4. 1/2 teaspoon of pink crystal himalayan salt (or equivalent).
  5. several dates.
  6. 3 parts of coconut water.
  7. 1 bunch of kale (black kale is fine).
  8. 1 bunch of parsley.
  9. 1 bunch of cilantro/ coriander.
  10. 1 stalk of celery
  11. 1 cucumber
  12. 1 apple

You may need to build up to being able to use / access all these items and ingredients..

Got everything ready? Let's milk this gorilla!

  1. Soak raw almonds in the best water you can find for 24 hours (changing water every 8 hours) - ideally using structured geothermal, alkaline water from the earth direct. Alternatively, you can use neutral or alkaline spring water or other high quality water. Soaking the almonds will remove the enzyme inhibitors that they contain which may deplete our own resources of enzymes if we ingest them - which would be counterproductive to us, since we are seeking to increase our enzyme levels, not deplete them.
  2. Once the almonds are ready, put them in the blender along with the dates, salt, cinnamon and coconut water (plus coconut meat if available).
  3. Blend the mixture until it is smooth as a smoothie or milkshake (usually around 30 - 40 seconds).
  4. Strain the mixture through a sieve to remove any remaining hard particles from the nuts and date seeds.
  5. Put the mixture in the muslin bag (nut milk strainer bag) and squeeze the bag over a bowl, to collect all the liquid 'milk' in the bowl and to leave behind the denser material inside the muslin bag.
  6. You should now have a light coloured liquid in the bowl that resembles milk and smells like a sweet bread/milkshake/dessert.
  7. Now use the juicer to juice the greens (cucumber, apple, celery, parsley, coriander & kale).
  8. Stir the green juice into an even mixture.
  9. Finally combine the nut milk mixture with the green mixture in a glass, in whichever proportions suit your taste and preference. i used a 50/50 mix, though you may prefer more greens or more nut milk.

You now have your finished gorilla milk, packed with nutrition, ready to enjoy on it's own or with cereal or however else you prefer!

Thanks so much to lou corona for sharing this, here he is in action:

I have to try this out immediately. This sounds great.

I drink a variant of this every day with cereal. Some of the healthiest people on Earth that I have encountered so far have used this for years to boost their health. I'm sure you will like it. I'd appreciate a resteem as I have a lot of useful posts here that get missed. <3

Thanks for the Resteem. Much Appreciated :)

You are welcome. Feel free to resteem and up vote my recipes when you have chance as well. :)

I'm happy to - but I might find I resteem nearly everything because you have so many great vegan recipes :)
i'll hit some up shortly.

HAHAH :) I just realized I wasn't following you. OPPS. Just changed that. :)

8D - Hopefully if we follow each other we won't just go round in circles :)
Thanks for the follow.

hah. :) Gotta help each other out. My goal in the next few months is to get to the coveted 1000 followers ;)

Yes, I am all for teamwork with talented people who are helping us all with wise choices :)
As we stand, having 1000-2000 followers here can possibly mean being able to be financially supported enough to live comfortably just from steemit alone - but this is also the wild world wide west web - so anything can change quickly too.

Wow! This is super useful to me as a vegan looking to bulk up after about one year of strenght training (one year of veganism too).

Thank you for sharing the ingredients list, gonna make a batch this week.

Me: When People ask me all the time, what's the difference between Vegetarian and Vegan

hehe - well, veganism is a bit more than just food - it's a philosophy of non harm. ;)

Indeed. Was just the first relevant meme i could find in my libary, lol!

Steemit is an excellent platform to spread awareness on this aspect...

:)

no problem - i forget sometimes that i am looking at a meme and not listening to the mouth of the poster ;)

I haven't heard of gorilla milk before. Sounds like an interesting recipe to try. Thanks for sharing.

You are welcome! I used it to help heal my dad of meningitis - it appeared to really do good work.

Wow! This sounds amazing. I will take note of this. Thanks for sharing.

You are welcome!

best milk.. everrrrr. :)

yes, that's my website.

Looks and sounds amazing! I love green juices and I love milk so I must try this ASAP.

Great! There's room for playing with the ingredients too.

Awesome concoction. I try to eat organic with lots of fruits and vegetables. Also make my own almond milk. I will try a variant of this soon. Resteemed to connect with others of the organic persuasion.

Excellent, thanks!
