Recipe: Stuffed Baked Bell Pepper
This dish is served as an appetizer, despite this, it can be served as a main course. The members of my family love it a lot. Try it as it’s unbelievably delicious!
Ingredients
• 5 bell peppers
• 600 g chicken filet
• 200 g hard cheese
• 1 onion
• 250 g sour cream
• 2-3 tomatoes
• vegetable oil (for frying)
• salt, black pepper, dill, garlic (to taste).
Directions
- Wash a pepper and cut it into 2 parts along the length. Remove all seeds.
- Wash meat and dice it. Also, cut peeled onion and tomatoes into small pieces.
- Fry the chicken filet over a medium heat for a while. Add onion to it. Salt and pepper it.
- Add several spoons of sour cream. Stir it and stew for a couple of minutes.
- Place meat and tomatoes on a half of the pepper. You also can add chopped dill and garlic.
- Put stuffed pepper on an oiled baking tray. Put it into an oven (180 °C) for 20 minutes.
- Take it out and place some sour cream on each half, then sprinkle them with grated cheese. Put it into the oven for 5-7 minutes again.
- That’s all, stuffed pepper is ready for being served!
- Soft and savory pepper looking like little boats with juicy chicken filet under cheese crust will decorate any table.
Guests and relatives will definitely love this substantial and delicious dish.
