Strawberry Banana Waffles

I woke up this morning with one thing on my mind, strawberry banana waffles with whip cream on top. Used to be one my go to dishes but not so much anymore. I try to avoid sweets in the morning.

Today however, I have everything I need to make the mix. I have a container of fresh strawberries left over from the farmers market as well as a few bananas. When having these kind of waffles I usually go pretty light on the syrup if any at all.

I remember as a kid I'd put everything on there, wasn't phased by the sweet taste one bit. But like I've said in some of my older posts, as we get older our taste buds change and we like things we never did, vice versa. For example, I liked pancakes more when I was younger, these days I prefer waffles.
