Food Sharing #13 - Council Voting & Lunch at Wild Sage @ Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺 | 今天吃什麼 #13 - 政府投票日 & 吃一個輕鬆的午餐 Wild Sage @ 悉尼, 澳洲 🇦🇺

We had two things to do yesterday - one was to vote for our local council and two, have a nice relaxing lunch.

昨天我們要做兩件事 - 第一就是在附近的學校投票然後吃一個輕鬆的午餐．

First we headed to the local school to place our votes. It was such a great day so after voting, most locals were at the cafes surrounding the area. Once we arrived, there were many people trying to give us information about their party but we just walked straight to the line because more and more people were coming in.

我們先到附近的學校投票．昨天天氣非常好所以很多人投完之後就到附近的咖啡室吃東西．拍完車之後，有很多拉票的人跟我們推介人選但我們很快去排隊因為有很多人已經在我們後邊．

Luckily the line wasn't too long and we were able to get checked by the officer at the desk. Unfortunately I was not able to take a picture of the ballot paper or inside the voting station. We were given two voting papers and once we have made our selection, we drop them off separately in the designated boxes.

幸好我們排隊的時間不是很長就給工作人員檢查我們的資料．因為在投標的地方不可以拍照所以不可以給你們看投票的表格是怎樣的．工作人員給了兩張投票紙，填完你心目中的人選就在門口兩個箱子放投票紙．

Once we finished voting, we headed to the cafes nearby for some lunch but unfortunately, they were all full so we drove to a cafe called Wild Sage as there were free parking downstairs. We have been here many times so if we are in the area, we will definitely stop by for a meal.

投完票之後我們走到附近的咖啡室但太多人的關係我們決定開車到 Wild Sage 因為咖啡室樓下有免費拍車. 其實我們在這間餐廳吃了很多次午餐所以已經知道這裏的水準非常好。

They have a normal menu plus a brunch - plenty of choices!

他們的餐牌有很多選擇

The kids menu is printed on the colour sheet given out to the kids to entertain them while the adults eat. Baby E was more interested with his Thomas toy train than the colour activity.

兒童餐的餐牌就是印在圖畫紙上．但BB E 今天對油圖畫沒有興趣所以他選擇玩他的 Thomas 火車頭

There are two outdoor seating area plus a large indoor area for those who prefer less sun.

餐廳有兩個在外面坐的地方而且一個很大的室內餐堂

The indoor seating area has a large mesh decoration on their ceiling - quite interesting

餐廳裏面天花板有一個很特別的裝飾品

So we ordered a steak and pasta with spanner crab and prawns for the adults. For Baby E we ordered the fish & chips. We took the batter off the fish as we prefer him to eat less fried food.

爸爸 E 和我叫了一份牛扒和大蝦蟹意粉. BB E 就叫了一份薯條加炸魚． 因為我不想BB E 吃炸的東西所以很快地幫他除去魚外面的炸麵粉

The restaurant has an open kitchen and it has all sorts of pickles, herbs, fruit and vegetables on display.

這間啡室有一個開放式的廚房而他們用很多醃菜，香草，生果和蔬菜當裝飾品．

If you are ever in the lower north shore in Sydney, I highly recommend this nice cafe for a relaxing lunch/brunch. Just before heading home, we stopped by the shops to get some flowers for the weekend.
