Okay, this is more a question for the Steemit foodies.

I just saw this in the store: Kewpie mayonaise

We Belgians are big mayo eaters. People ask for mayo with everything here. So that got me really interested in this kewpie mayo.

So this apparently is some Japanese mayo made with rice vinegar. It should be very popular in Japan. I didn’t buy it but took a picture and looked it up.

So kewpie also was a popular German made doll in beginning of 1900.

Anyway since i read about this, it keeps intriguing me so next time i will definitely buy it and give it a try.

Feel free to comment if you already did try this kewpie mayo. Maybe i won’t buy it after all then...😂

Oh that reminds me of the good old days when my dad (also a Belgian) made homemade Mayo. I tried it once but never succeed to make it taste the same. Please do share the real Belgian Mayo recipe in your next post!
