Fresh, dry, cooked, eaten plain with a pinch of salt, you name it.. there are numerous ways to eat them.
There are numerous tomato variations as well. But every variation should grow at its place..don' t try to move them and cultivate them elsewhere. You will fail.
Also best to eat them fresh during their cultivation period. Out of season tomatoes don't have the full taste you long for.. so in the mediterranean countries like mine, you can eat fresh tomatoes from May till September, while the months July-August is their peak!
My opinion is that the tomato is the most versatile vegetable. It can be eaten in several ways and several meals.
The best is in a sauce for pizza or pasta.
