RE: Let's Turn Suburbia Into A Local Food Mecca

It cost about a nickel to grow a head of lettuce and WalMart Charges $2.99.
Growing your own food is a way to save money and live a healthier life.

I am growing cucumbers, watermelons, tomatoes, bell peppers and some wheat this year. I hope to have a bigger garden when I have a bigger space.

You could always try container gardening and growing vertically to gain more from your space. Just a suggestion

Thanks. I have been looking into stackables. I still have time since I am so far south to grow a couple of more this year.
