How to Make Shrimp Scampi ~ Easy Garlic Shrimp Scampi Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound shelled and cleaned shrimp
1 stick of unsalted butter
1 large bulb of garlic - minced (2 tbsp.)
1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
Juice of lemon
salt and pepper to taste

In a pan on medium to medium high heat, add butter and begin to melt. Add garlic and stir for one minute.
Add shrimp and cook on each side for approx 2 minutes or until shrimp is pink. Do not overcook.
Cooking time depends on size of shrimp.
Add parsley, lemon juice (I used 1/2 of lemon) and salt and pepper to taste.
Stir and cook for one minute.
Serve immediately.
Serve over pasta, rice, grits or potatoes.
