Goooooooooood Morning Steemians ~ It was a busy weekend!
Good morning everyone. It was a busy weekend and going to be a busy day. Hope you all are doing well. Getting ready to start the day and having a good substantial breakfast.
Having some eggs and homefries. It is still hot and steaming! Nothing special...just something quick and easy.
Our weekend was packed full of work... and fun! We live in Central Pennsylvania and this is our Lady Liberty. She stands in the middle of the Susquehanna river and has been there for decades. She is beautiful. I will have to make a post of Her birth and history. It is quite a story. Long story short, it was a hoax by a few back in the 1970's ...and She still stands and is admired by all.
She is a great reminder of our country, history and freedom.

Looks Amazing Tess. I love those home fries. I love potatoes as an ingredient, just wish it was easier to find organic ones. I am thinking about starting to grow my own this year. Never been to that river, and can not believe there is a lady liberty there and never knew about it. That is too funny. The river looks like it would be great for fishing with all the rocks and running water it must stay fairly clean and do a pretty good job at filtering itself.
Thanks @healthyrecipe Potatoes are fun to grow and harvest. It is a large and wide river. When the water is low there are places that you can walk across the river on the rocks (highly not recommended but you can). We do have some great fishing places here in Pa.
I used to fish on the Potomac river up near Harpers Ferry West Virginia all the time. It kind of reminds me of it. It was beautiful there.
You went for a far more sensible breakfast, love it ! Great pictures, I love getting out in to the countryside as much as possible :-) xxxx
