My Journey to Becoming Cooking Ninja - Delicious Cream Crepes
Hello Steemians. How do you feel about some delicious desert for today. This time on our menu we have sweet and tasty crepes. If you don't know what crepe is, it's a sort of very thin pancake, widespread in many European countries. You must try it, if you haven't already.
Ingredients we need:
- 3-4 eggs
- 3 big cups of milk
- 2 big cups of wheat flour
- Oil
- Nutella or similar cream spread
- Raspberries or sour cherries or both
- Ground biscuits
- Black chocolate for topping
Mix 3 whole eggs in a bowl. Then add 3 cups of milk and 2 cups of flour and mix until the mixture is unified. Remember, we are making crepes, not the traditional American pancakes, so we don't want our mixture to be too thick. Also, not to thin so we can't flip the crepe in the pan.
Turn the oven hob to 200 C (390 F).
Sprinkle the pan with a little oil and when it is well heated pour in one ladle of the mixture. Turn the pan in all directions immediately so the mixture is equally spread across the pan.
Wait for a minute or so until the crepe can be separated from the pan, and then flip it with spatula.
If you feel confident in your skills, you can try the advanced technique bellow.
Wait for around 30 seconds until the crepe gets nice color, and drop it on the plate. Repeat the process until you have used all the mixture (oil the pan a bit every time).
Spread nutella or similar cream over the half of the crepe. Sprinkle ground biscuit and add some raspberries or sour cherries on top of it. You can add sliced bananas instead of it, but I prefer one of these red fruits because of the amazing sour - sweet mix of flavors.
There are 2 ways you can wrap the crepes: make it into a quarter or roll it, as shown on the pictures bellow.
You can use melted black chocolate as a topping and/or sprinkle a little more biscuit.
Enjoy it!

And now I'm craving for crepes.
Try to prepare it yourself, it shouldn't be that hard. Thanks for the comment. :)
You're right, it's not hard. I've done the recipe before, but I don't have any of the ingredients in the house :)). And I'm too lazy to go to buy them now.
Too bad. :)
