A large number of people, aspiring to be healthy food specialists, investigates the quality of food and speak jibberish. So, that’s how they create myths about food, but I am here to break them ;)

The eggs are a source of bad cholesterol.

It’s not true that they are the source of the bad cholesterol. Eggs have just 1.5 g fat per egg and 0 g trans fats that are responsible for the cholesterol in the blood.

The celery has no calories.

Celer has only 6 to 10 calories making it low-calories food, but you will not lose weight from it.

Pasta is fattening.

Refined carbohydrates are fattening. Homemade pasta will not harm you!

Spicy foods can cause ulcer in the stomach.

It is completely false that the spices are unhealthy. But if you have an ulcer in your stomach, you should avoid spicy foods.

“Low fat” food is better than food rich in fats

Unfortunately, most low fat option is full of additives and artificial sweetener, which have multiple engangers of fat or sugar.

A raw food is healthier than boiled or cooked food is healthier than crude.

There are foods that are healthier after a short boiling, and there are also foods that are healthier raw. Carrots and tomatoes are healthier if they’re properly cooked.

especially the egg and pasta one i have bored to hear the same and same nonsense again. i came to a point to give the research to those people and guess what.. they still believed their own philosophies

In that case, it's worth telling them about such a great connoisseur of eggs and pasta as I am :)

In respects to cooking or raw, actually steaming vegetables is a great way to retain its nutritional value but also have it hot too. Very often completely raw food can cause digestion issues as your stomach has to work hard to break it down, which can then result in loss of nutrition.
