Typical canary food. Fuerteventura /Typisch kanarisches Essen

Heute gab es endlich wieder einmal ein ausgedehntes spanisches Tappasessen bei meinem lieblings Restaurant in Morro jable. Viele Touristen findet man dort nicht, eher die Einheimischen. Das liegt wohl daran, dass es keine perfekte Lage mit Blick auf das Meer hat und nicht schick und modern eingerichtet ist. Ich muss aber sagen es ist das beste Essen, das ich auf dieser Insel je gegessen habe. Natürlich gibt es viele Variationen wie Speisen nach Familienrezepten zubereitet werden. So schmeckt zum Beispiel die typische Mojosauce in fast jedem Restaurant anders ;)
Der Name dieses Restaurants ist, wie es passender nicht sein könnte, mis abuelos (bei meinen Großeltern). Und wie so oft gibt es bei den Großeltern das beste Essen.

Es gab spanische Tortilla (klassisch mit Kartoffeln, Eiern und Zwiebeln)

Mejillones con Ajo (Muscheln mit Knoblauch)

Papas arugadas (typische kanarische salz schrumpel kartoffeln) eingelegt in die Mojo sauce( 70 % Knoblauch Bestandteil) und das typische Brot mit Anis

Endalada de Pescado (Fischsalat)

Queso de cabra a la Plancha (der leckerste Ziegenkäse)

Solltet ihr einmal hier sein, probiert es! Das was von außen nicht besonders aussieht, ist manchmal besser als das schicke Äußere!

Today there was finally an extensive spanish tappa dinner at my favorite restaurant in Morro jable. Many tourists are not there, rather the locals. This is probably due to the fact that it is not a perfect location with a view of the sea and is not chic and modern. I must say however it is the best food I have ever eaten on this island. Of course, there are many variations such as dishes prepared according to family recipes. For example, the typical Mojosauce tastes different in almost every restaurant;)
The name of this restaurant is, as it might not be, mis abuelos (at my grandparents). And as is often the case with the grandparents the best food.

There was Spanish tortilla (classic with potatoes, eggs and onions)

Papas arugadas (typical canarian fried potatoes) inserted into the mojo sauce (70% garlic component) And the typical bread with anise

Endalada de Pescado (Fish Salad)

Queso de cabra a la Plancha (the most delicious goat's cheese)

Should you be here, try it! What does not look particularly at the outside is sometimes better than the chic exterior!
