Tasty Chicken Schnitzels In Breadcrumbs (My Recipe)- Simple and ready to eat in about 90 minutes.

Chicken is one of the foods that are international, everywhere we have been there was chicken on the menu.

This is not the classic way of dipping schnitzels into eggs and then breadcrumbs and we all like this much better, we think it is much tastier when made this way.

I read a similar recipe on one of the recipe sites a few years ago, then changed it by using my own herbs and spices and by leaving it in the fridge so that the meat absorbs all the flavours. So I can say that this is "My way of doing it".

Ingredients,

about 1/2 kg of Chicken Breasts
80 g flour
50 g cornflour

1 teaspoon of paprika
Garlic herbs
1 teaspoon of Vegeta
salt,
pepper
150 ml yoghurt or 150 ml full cream milk
1 egg
bread crumbs
uil in which to fry the schnitzels.

Step 1

Cut the chicken breasts into thin schnitzels, usually I get about four schnitzels from one breast.

Do not beat them, they must not be hammered.

Step 2.

Mix all the ingredients (leave out the oil and breadcrumbs)
Make sure to mix well so that it is all mice ans smoothe.

Then soak the chicken schnitzels into the mix, cover with plastic wrap and leave it in the fridge for at least half an hour.

Step 3

Take the schnitzels and cover in bread crumbs and then place into a fry pan (medium temperature/flame), do not use a high temperature as they will burn.

Remember to flip them over at least once.

When the look like this your schnitzels are ready to serve!

As you can see below, with a bit of pasta and vegetables on the side, this is a good tasty and very filling meal.

All my children like eating this and if there are any leftovers I usually pack them in the childrens lunchboxes for school the next day.

My Mum used to make chicken like this for me as a kid except she would use lemon juice first on the chicken, then put it in flour, then milk, then breadcrumbs and then she would put it under the grill.
