Bangkok is a foodie paradise. People who come to Bangkok to focus on food usually research what they want to eat even before they arrive.

This dish is without a doubt on the top 5 "must eat" dishes! Meet the famous Tom Yum Soup. A hot soup that is very flavorful with a dominating sourness and spiciness. You can get this anywhere in Thailand. Having lived in Bangkok for 3 years, @eoj and I have had a lot of bowls of this delicious goodness and have found one of the most interesting ones in our book.

Reasons why this one stands out among the rest? 1. The soup is uniquely served with Mama noodles, which is a famous Thai instant noodle. Normal Tom Yum doesn't come with noodles. 2. Tom Yum Soup usually has shrimp or seafood in it, this one is topped with lots of chunky crab. 3. It is creamy and spice can be adjusted depending on your spice tolerance level. But, my personal opinion is if you want to experience the authentic taste of this dish, don't ditch the kick - keep that spice!

To cool off the heat and spiciness of the soup, I paired it with a Santol fruit shake, which is pretty tasty. Where to find this interesting variation on a Thai classic? This yummy Crab Tom Yum soup can be experienced at Ros Niyom, a chain of restaurants that can be found in Wittayu Road's All Seasons Place, Emporium Mall, and Silom Complex.
