Not all salads are healthy

We all know how useful fruits and vegetables are, and as if automatically, when we hear the salad, we imagine something extremely useful. However, this is not always the case.

Here are some salads that are not so recommended for us.

Salads with "heavy" dressing


Shrimps rich in blue cheese and mayonnaise, for example, can contain many calories and fat. Even 2 tablespoons of blue cheese dressing contain 150 calories and 15 grams of fat. Not to mention that many people add a lot more to the salad. That is why you should be careful not to end up with a "healthy" salad with more calories and harmful fat even from a hamburger.

Salads with ready-to-eat no fat


In many places, you can see a ready-to-eat, fat-free dressing. With such products, however, you must have one mind. Very often, to achieve a certain taste add much more sugar and sodium.

Salads with fried meat


Everyone has seen part of the salad included crunchy, fried, fried pieces of meat. And maybe almost everyone was tempted to order them. However, they can not only turn the salad into a caloric bomb, but they can irritate your stomach. From the fried food, you may get heavy or bad sometimes.

Salad with croutons and cheese


Ready croutons and pieces of fried bacon, often added to salads, contain too much salt and do not have a particular nutritional value. If you love crispy supplements in salads, bet on nuts, seeds or carrots, for example. As for cheese - although it is rich in calcium, it is also calorie. So, if you follow your weight strictly, use a little cheese feta or parmesan cheese for the salad.

I follow this already :)

My salad is mixed greens (especially spinach, my son and i love it)
flax, sesame, suflower and chia seeds always,
tomato sometimes, carrot sometimes,
chopped almonds or cashews sometimes,
Olive oil and small amount of Parmesan.

Right, the dressing is a calory bomb. I see often people having an extremely big salad for lunch and they think it is healthy.

If is green is healthy without anything else.

That is true. For sure it must taste good too. Pure green is often boring and then we have to be careful what we chose.
