Foodie For Life #11 - Mother May I ? - Glass House Dining

Hello Steemit friends,

Today I have decided to escape the chaos of the city to a delightful place. Mother May I is a chill restaurant at Sukhumvit 59 here in Bangkok . It’s beautifully decorated with a glass house theme with all white paint.

This is a perfect place for lunch, dinner or if you need a little day off to sip some fine wine. There are both indoor and outdoor space to your preferences.

The place is call Mother May I due to the restaurant’s owner son, is a renowned Chef Noom of the TV show Iron Chef. The location is on a redecorated 40-year-old house. The feel to it is cozy and warm perfectly for dates or friends gathering. Most on the menu are Thai Food and some redecoration dishes from the chef.

Let me start with this Peach Ice Tea

We ordered the "Kai Ku Fu" By Chef Noom
It is a Crispy Thai omelette with minced pork and to tobiko. Over all the combination was delightful addition to the fluffiness texture of the omelette .

Next is the Pork Spare Rib Soup
This soup is added mainly by the kaffir lime leaves and fish sauce. I am currently recovering from a cold. This soup has that lemon and spice which will give my throat that little extra clearing.

Nam Prik (Thai Chili Paste Set)

Chili paste are made from herb and spices. It is something love because i grew up with taste many kinds. There are so many different kind of chili paste. Depending on the regional, Chili paste are made and preferred differently all over Thailand. It's a great way to get your greens because Nam Prik are made to eat with vegetables.

We ate all of this with Rice Berry Thai Rice Berry is a new variety of new organic rice from Thailand. It's very healthy and favorable. The cook and steam it in coconut which makes the taste and smell fantastic!!!.

We Took many picture and explored the whole place

There are 2 big private dining spaces for birthday parties or meetings for customerห to reserve in advance.

At the end we enjoyed this wonderful Salted Caramel Cake And it was very very good. I am an ultimate sweet tooth which means that i can be very picky with my cakes, but this one, i had nothing to complain and yes we finished it to almost licking the plate.

No we didn't have wine but there are many wine selections to choose from , make sure you check them out.

I realized how much i missed making food blogs. I have been so occupied by life and everything colorful about it recently that i havent been doing any food or travel post. I have good news, I will be traveling to a place far far away and totally different from where i am at the moment. I am super excited to go on this trip and want to let you all know that i will definitely be sharing this trip with you. It's a secret for now !!! Stay tuned on my next adventure guys !!
