---Swiss Rainbow Salad--- with cottage cheese and caramalised pecan nuts >recipe<
Hello Steemians. I would like to introduce you today a traditional salad with old carrott sorts, Boskop and Jonagold apples, cottage cheese and caramelized pekan nuts.
Ingredients:
500- 700g carrotts - for example purple haze, yellow lobbericher carrott
2 apples - i like it a little bit more sour because of that i use Boskop and Jona apples
1 juice of a half bio citron
salt to taste
black pepper
4- 6 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp hazelnut or peanut oil
3 tbsp liquid honey
50g pecans
200 g of cottage cheese
6 stems of Kerbel
1. Peel the carrots and wash the apples (I do not peel the apples because of the vitamins)
2. Grate carrots and apples in stripes
I love those great healthy colors...
3. Press the Lemon and add salt, pepper the half of the olive oil and the nut oil
4. Pour the liquid over the vegetables and mix
5. Heat the crushed pecan nuts in a pan pan add the honey and caramalise it. Place the finished nuts on a kitchen towel and allow to cool.
6. Put the Salad on a plate or in a bowl, direct the cottage chees on it and sprinkle pecans and
kerbel on top!
