Chicken Biryani
Ingredients
- 1 kg of chicken
- 1 liter of rice
- 200ml yoghurt
- 8 cm cinnamon
- 1 nutmeg, pounded
- 5 cloves of onion, puree
- 5 cloves of garlic, puree
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 2 teaspoons powdered cumin
- 1,5 tbsp curry powder
- 1/2 tbsp of turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 500 ml of water / according to the needs of rice
- Salt to taste
- 5 cloves
The steps
- Wash the chicken, discard the fat, soak it with lime juice.
- Saute the onion and garlic, add another spice, then put water and enter the chicken.
- After almost boiling, add yoghurt and mix well.
- Cook until the chicken is undercooked and water is reduced.
- Pick up the chicken, put the washed rice into the gravy of chicken dishes, then set aside a few spoonfuls of sauce to use as a spice on top when baking chicken.
- Cook over medium heat and stirring constantly.
- After the water seeps in the rice, steam the rice with the chicken.
- The process of steaming rice for about 50 minutes or until rice is cooked.
- Pick up the chicken, grill it with a spread of leftover cooking sauce before, mix with soy sauce. Lift, serve with the steamed rice.
