'TO-DIE-FOR' NON-DAIRY COFFEE CREAMER RECIPE

in #food7 years ago

Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to bring some serious nutrition to your morning coffee ritual? Well, here's an amazing dairy-free creamer recipe for you to try!!

I was tired of the way I felt with the bloatedness and stomach discomfort I'd feel after using milk/half-n-half in my morning coffee and realized it was probably the dairy, even though i'm not officially lactose intolerant. Not only that, but I was even more tired of the fact that there is virtually zero usable nutrition for humans available in commercial dairy. And, who needs the chemicals that are in store bought creamers, right!!

So.......I was looking for something that was thick, creamy, satisfying and that was packed with nutrients to start my day off right. I have already suggested my favorite brand of coffee to you in my last post HERE but everyone knows that a great cup of Joe is not complete without the perfect creamy touch…..

ENJOY!!

Recipe

1 Can coconut milk (Use a brand with NO preservatives)
½ Cup Coconut Palm Sugar or 1/3 cup maple syrup (I'm using Coconut Palm Sugar)
3/4 cup Nut Milk (Your choice)

Directions

  1. Bring the coconut milk to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. Mix in Coconut Palm Sugar and simmer for another 10 minutes.
  3. Mix in the Nut milk and allow to cool.
  4. Put your amazingly thick and yummy creamer in a mason jar and allow to cool. Then store in the fridge.

The whole fat coconut cream gives you a satisfying feeling as well as being SUPER healthy. The Coconut Palm Sugar contains Vitamins, Minerals and Phytonutrients so even though it contains calories, this as a nutrition dense food not a sugar. The nut milk brings more of nature's great fats to the table and provides sustainable energy for the day...

1. Gather your ingredients

2. Pour full fat coconut milk into pan and simmer for 15 minutes.

3. Pour in coconut palm sugar or maple syrup and simmer again for 10 more minutes while stirring.

4. Pour in nut milk and let cool.

5. Transfer to a mason jar and store/use in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Another delicious experience ! <3 @soulsavers

Give it a try you won't be disappointed...

delicious !!

Is this caffeine is healthy?

Caffeine in small quantities is healthy yes. It's when you overdo it and drink coffee the whole day that you run into problems. Like the old saying goes "too much of anything is not good for you!" Even too much water can kill you ;O)

Yay!! How would I make in a different flavor? I love cinnamon! Any tricks?

You can add almond/hazelnut essence, cinnamon etc
