Wednesday food waste pickup #7 Milk, orange juice and apple sauce [2018.02.21]

On Wednesday we made two trips to collect most of the food waste and deliver it to Bike Kitchen Gamlestan. All three firges got filled up with orange juice, milk and sour milk. We also rescued lots of nice vegetables like, Pak Choi, lettuce, Bell pepper, carrots, fresh herbs, potato, leek, and 13 x 10 liter containers of apple sauce.

There was so much dairy products and we could not fit all in the fridge. The opening hours for Solikyl in Gamlestan are on Thursdays so we deiced to hand out the surplus directly from the car on the street. Everyone was super surprised and it was a great opportunity to spread the word about the project.
