Food Waste Dinner #1 Codfish Stew, boiled Pak Choi and Potato salad mix
Rescuing food is a nobel act and a rewarding experience, but nothing beats the real taste of the fruits of labour like a dinner made of rescued food. This dinner was made out of 99% food waste, and the following foods:
Codfish Stew
- Rimmed codfish back
- Bell pepper
- Shallot onions
- Garlic
- Ginger
Pak Choi
Potato salad mix
- Swedish potato salad
- Mushrooms
- Red pepper
- Bean sprouts
The only ingredients that where purchased:
- Oyster sauce
- Spring onion
- White rice
The aim of this post here on Steemit is to document the amount of food waste we can reduce by simply collaborating around a very basic concept, and hopefully inspire others to do the same. Just Eat It!
The Solidarity Fridge (Solikyl) is an open and collaborative project aimed at reducing food waste. Find out more in the post What is Solikyl (Solidarity Fridge)?.
