Here's how to prepare the carnival chiceries. To start, place the flour in a cup, then add the eggs, seed oil, sugar, a pinch of salt and lemon peel.

Mix everything by making sure to mix the ingredients well until you get an elastic and soft dough. Divide the dough into smaller loaves so that you can spread them in very thin sheets with a rolling pin.

Roll out the sheets in a floured pastry board and cut with the dough (wheel) the pieces of the shape you want, not too small or too large.

Heat the oil in a frying pan large enough and when it is hot cook a few minutes at a time until they have a minimum amber color. Then remove them with a skimmer and let them drain well in absorbent paper.

Then put them in a serving tray and, once cold, sprinkle with vanilla and servile sugar.

Ingredients for 1 tray
2 eggs
50 gr of sugar
300 gr of flour
1 teaspoon of grated lemon peel
1 pinch of salt
3 tablespoons of seed oil
100 gr of vanilla powdered sugar
Seed oil for frying
